The "Centre for Industrial Application of CT scanning - CIA CT: Advanced 3D scanning for measurement, quality assurance and product development in industry" has acted as a national competence centre and conducted research of benefit to the participating firms, the Danish industry and the Danish society.

The kick-off meeting of the consortium took place at DTU on the 29th of September 2009. The nine partners were represented by 33 participants.
